Description
Inaugural coins given to Maurice Stans from Richard Nixon. The coins are affixed inside of a hinged wooden storage case which opens like a book.- the obverse view with the great seal of the united states on one side of the case and the reverse with the three quarter profile portrait of Nixon on the other side. The coins are bronze and made by the medallic art company. The front and back of the case have a padded leather cover. There is also a brass plate on the front which reads, "With deep appreciation Richard Nixon 1968".
