Description

Plaque given to Maurice Stans by the National Business League. The plaque is a wooden frame around a blue flocked piece of particle board to which a brass dedication plate is affixed with decorative screws. The brass plate has a marbled enamel on the surface. There is an inscription etched into the marble which allows the yellow brass below to show through. The inscription reads,"National Business League Special Award of Appreciation presented to Maurice H. Stans Chairman Minority Enterprise Development Advisory Council For Outstanding Support in Minority Business Development October 19, 1991". There is a gold metallic sticker affixed to the top of the frame on the back side. The sticker reads, "Coleman Sporting Goods 124 Anderson St. Fayetteville, N.C. 28301 485-8858".
