Description
Certificate given to Maurice Stans from the Blue Grass Airport in 1971. The certificate is printed on white textured cardstock. It reads, "blue Grass Airport in the center of progress in Kentucky at Lexington Has conferred the honor of the Red Carpet on The Honorable Maurice Stans upon the occasion of arrival at the airfield this 24th day of august in the year of our Lord on thousand nine hundred and 71." The certificate is signed by the chairman of the airport board and by the General Manager. There is a gold foil sticker in the lower left corner that has a strip of red velvet on top of it and two red ribbons adhered behind it.Related People and Organizations
