Description

General monetary ledger kept by the First National Bank of Shakopee. The book has hard white book cloth and leather covers, lined paper pages and a bound spine. Printed in black on the spine is "Cash/Bank of Shakopee". The word Cash is crossed out and handwritten in black ink is "General Ledger Balances". The ledger contains handwritten monthly monetary balances for capital stock, real estate, premiums, tax certificate, expenses, interest, exchange, bills receivable, cash, deposits subject to check, demand CD, true CD, taxes, bonds, and various banks. A bookplate with maker's label is adhered to the inside front cover.
