Description

Certificate given to Maurice Hubert Stans by the University of the State of New York Education Department granting him the title Certified Public Accountant. The certificate is dated on the bottom right of the certificate April 21, 1933. It is signed by the Commissioner of Education and the State Examiners of Public Accountants. The certificate is printed in black ink on off white paper. There is a gold foil seal on the lower left corner which is labeled, "The University of the State of New York". The certificate is protected inside of a black wooden frame which has gold paint on the inner edges.
