Description
Inaugural coin for president Richard Nixon. The obverse side displays the great seal of the united states surrounded by the words, "37th President of the United States of America Inaugurated January 20th 1969". The reverse has a three quarter profile portrait of Richard Nixon and his name in relief around the perimeter. The coin is bronze and made by the medallic art company which is stamped on the edge. The coin is accompanied by a brass stand and a pamphlet with information about the coin including Nixon biography, history of the inaugural medal, the design, the artist, and the medalist.Related People and Organizations
