When assembled the crystal ball and stand measure 3.75"w x 4.5"h. The circumference of the crystal/glass ball measures 11". The accompanying card measures 5"w x 3"h.
Description
Crystal ball given as a gift to Maurice Stans from Harold Passer. The glass ball rests on a circular wooden stand which has a brass plate wrapped around the rim. The brass plate reads, "Maurice H. Stans/Secretary of Commerce/1969-1972/For Superior Forecasting of Economic Trends". The foot of the base is covered in soft green felt. There was also a card which accompanied the gift in the faux reptile skin box. The note reads, "From: Dr. Harold C. Passer/Assistant Secretary for Economic Affairs". (no maker's mark)Geographic Notes
