Description

Desktop replica liberty bell. The bell and supports are made of brass and mounted to a trapezoidal block of wood. The bell's inscription on the front reads, "Proclaim Liberty/Throughout all the Land/ Pass and Stow/ Philada/MDCCLIII." The reverse inscription reads, "Unto all the inhabitants thereof." There is a brass plate on the front of the wood mount which reads, "Maurice H. Stans/Chairman/Interdepartmental Savings Bonds Committee."
