Description
Certificate Discharging Harold M. F. Irgens from military service November 17, 1865. He joined the second Regiment of the Minnesota Cavalry February 20, 1865.
The certificate reads:

To all whom it may concern; Know ye, that H. M. F. Irgens a Private of captain Aaron S. Everst's Company "C", Second Regiment of Cavalry Minnesota Volunteers who was enrolled on the twentieth day of February 1865 to serve one year or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this seventeenth day of November, 1865, at Fort Snelling Minnesota by the reason of Telegram from War Department Dated Oct. 15, 1865. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)
Said H. M. F. Irgens was born in ___ in the State of Norway, is twenty-five years of age, five feet eight inches high, fair complexion, gray eyes, dark hair, and by occupation when enrolled, a Farmer.
Given at Fort Snelling Minn. this Seventeenth day of November 1865.
