Description

Ledger kept by the Scott County Treasurer between May 1967-February 1977. The book has hard light blue book cloth covers reinforced with black leather at the corners and a metal expandable spine. The bound paper pages are printed in black with the title "Treasurer's Office, Scott County, Minn./County Treasurer's Statement of Receipts and Disbursements..." along with space to hand write the date. The remaining portion of each page is printed with two columns tracking receipts, disbursements, and total balances. Items tracked included taxes, licenses, schools, the cemetery association, the county libraries, parks, civil defense, welfare, game/fish fines, veteran services, the agricultural society, county buildings, mosquito control, social security, crime prevention, etc. No maker's marks.
