Description

A) Plaque from Pepperdine University. The plaque consists of a copper plate painted with a black background. The raised inscription reads, "Pepperdine University Associates/ Maurice H. Stans/ In Recognition of Friendship and Sustaining Support." The seal for the university appears at the top. There is another smaller copper plate affixed to the first with the year 1988 inscribed in black. The plates are raised and affixed to a wooden shadow box lined with red flocking. (There is a sticker from the manufacturer on the back of the shadow box)
B) Certificate of Congratulations from Pepperdine University. The certificate measures the same as the plaque and has the seal for the University printed on the top. The first paragraph on the certificate reads, "Congratulations on your membership in the Pepperdine University Associates. Enclosed is the plaque commemorating your association."
C) Box covered in gold foil which stores the plaque and certificate. The box has a UPS tag taped to the top as well as an address label with Maurice Stans's Pasadena address printed on the front. The facing side of the lid has a white office label attached to it which reads, "Maurice H. Stans."
