Description

Scrapbook with dark brown leather cover accented with a gold boarder. The title of the album is printed in gold on the front cover in the bottom right corner, it reads, "Maurice H. Stans/ Doctor of Laws/ Pepperdine University/December 15, 1984." The scrapbook contains photos from the ceremony where the Honorary Doctor of Laws degree was conferred upon Maurice Stans, as well as the program for the event. There is also a letter from Howard A. White, the President of Pepperdine University, which thanks Stans for accepting the degree in person. The letter reads in part, "In memory of a very happy occasion, I am sending you this album of photographs taken on the day you received the LL.D. degree from Pepperdine University."
