Description

United States Navy uniform white dress shirt worn by Charles R. Davis. The shirt is possibly cotton, and is secured with gold-colored metal buttons embossed with the Navy's symbol. The shirt has two breast pockets, both with similar but smaller gold buttons. Above the left breast pocket are pinned two medals, one is a winged Navy symbol, the other is a National Defense medal. On the shoulders are tabs for shoulder boards. On the back of the neck is stamped "Davis, C.R.".
