Description

Chalice used at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Sand Creek Township. The chalice is gold gilt, sterling, and bronze. The base and cup are each decorated with two bands of small circles. The base also has a small cross. The stem is notched above and below the knop, and the center of the knop is decorated with a thin band of embossed clovers. Stamped on the cup near the rim are "Sterling" with a mostly worn shield-shaped maker's mark.
