The case measures 6.375" x 1.75" x .75." The felt case measures 1" x 5.5." The brochure measures 1.75" x 2.625" while folded.

Description
Gold pencil with etched inscription which reads, "SALT- Vienna 1971." The word "SALT" stands for "Strategic Arms Limitation Talks," which were negotiations between the U.S. and Soviet Union concerning nuclear missiles. The pencil (A) is stored in a hinged case (B) that is covered in black textured vinyl. The manufacturer's name, "Cross," is stamped in gold on the top of the case. The interior of the case is lined in white satin. There is a stamp on the satin in the lid which reads, "Cross/ Since 1846." The pencil is protected inside the case by a light blue felt cover (C). The word "Pencil" is stamped on the front of the felt cover in gold ink. There is also a small brochure (D) stored inside of the case with the pen. The brochure is folded. The front reads, "Cross/ America's finest writing instruments."
