Description

Pair of men's ice hockey skates used by the Walsh family of Prior Lake. The skates are black and brown leather boots with round toes, metal eyelets painted brown and white cotton laces. The underside of each boot tongue is lined with red felt. Nailed to the underside of each boot is a metal skate blade. Engraved on each blade below the toe is "G/N. H. L. Rule committee Officially approved/Canada". Stamped inside each boot in black ink are the skate size (12) and possibly maker's marks (illegible).
