Description

Pair of men's ice hockey shorts used by the Walsh family of Prior Lake. The shorts are black nylon with maroon and white ribbon side trim. Stitched to the inside waist are white cotton pockets at each hip; housed inside each pocket is a plastic board for padding and shape. Suspended from each pocket is a white cotton and yellow foam pad. A smaller white cotton pocket with plastic board hangs from the inside rear to protect the player's tailbone. The shorts have a front tied closure consisting of metal eyelets painted black, one white cotton shoelace and one black cotton shoelace. Seen spaced around the exterior waist are metal buttons embossed with the maker's name. Maker's and size label stitched to the inside back of the waist.
