Description
Pine sideboard, originally built into dining room of the Erick Barsness House in Barsness Township. Built by the Larson brothers (Emil & Victor) of Starbuck in 1910.
The sideboard remained in the house until September 29, 1970 when an auction was held at the Barsness farm and the auctioneer, Johnnie Peterson purchased the sideboard. After a few years, he sold the sideboard to Joel Barsness who kept it in the dining room of his home in Langhei Township. Joel Died in March 2006 and left the sideboard to his sister and brother. They donated it to the Pope County Museum in September 2006.
