Description
Photo album with ornate cloth cover and golden yellow tassels tied to hold the spine together. The inscription on the title page reads, "Japan July 1969." A small white label at the bottom of the title page reads, " Decorative cloth photo album from Japan with photos of U.S.-Japan Min. Mtgs.-Kyoto & Tokyo, 7/69." The inside of the back cover has an gold embossed stamp in Japanese. The edges of all the pages are lined in gold leaf. Each picture is protected by a thin piece transparent cloth paper. The photo imagery includes Maurice arriving in Japan, men and women in western dress eating with men and women in traditional Japanese dress while everyone is seated on the floor, Japanese architecture, a grade school classroom, and Maurice speaking at a conference.
