Description
2 baseballs. 1 - 11" horse hide cover #113. One has "Cock of the W" written in black ink.

Items have been in ACHS collection. Not numbered and unable to locate original donor.

First item is from the A.J. Reach Company (founded 1874), the largest manufacturer of sporting goods during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Al Reach, the founder, was a former baseball player. In 1934 he sold the company to Spalding. This regulation-size ball is made from horse hide and says "Cock of the Walk"

Second item is an indoor ball created by D & M out of horse hide. Made for indoor use. Larger and softer than the first ball.
