Description
Boxed indoor horse shoe set; four cardboard “horse shoes” labeled c,d,e,f; two red dowels (labeled i, j) 3 in. long, .63 in. diam. fit into two 3.5 in. by 3.5 in. squares of wood (labeled g,h) to form the posts; two part box features a color illustration of children playing the game on the cover; belonged to Eugene Harry Day, son of Harry and Helena Day, born 26 April 1918 in Rendsville Township. Eugene was noted for taking exceptionally good care of his toys.

Lower left corner of box cover is split; edges and corners of box are generally worn; slight wear to horseshoes. Catalog numbers on wood block are hard to read.
