Description
Gray nurses full-length wool winter coat. J.C. Penney size 12 100% wool.. There is a nurses cadet patch on proper right pocket.

Coat belonged to Mary Montonye when she was in the Nurses Cadet Core as a student nurse. They paid you your wages and you could choose to stay and work in Fargo or join the army. She was trained at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo and graduated in 1946 in a class of 14. Paulette Solvie is her daughter. Coat has red grosgrain detail on shoulders.

Heavy wear down each side. Holes scattered across proper left front and sleeve; smaller holed scattered throughout. Hat and coat have some holes in it.
