Description
Now here's the way it was taught when I was a student in district 33." Herman Quist, left, seems to be saying to Vernon Simonson and Peter Simonson, both of Starbuck. The two Simonsons were amoung the several thousand that toured the renovated district 33 school house on the Pope county fairgrounds. The building was turned over to the Pope County Historical Society and renovated in a pioneer motif, and will occupy a permanent spot on the fairgrounds. Peter Simonson felt right at home in the district 33 school house for he went to school in district 32, not to far away.
