Gold straw hat with high, flat crown; broad gold ribbon with flat bow across front of brim; lined with fabric (linen?).
Belonged to donor's paternal grandmother, Annie Barbara (Mrs. William) Croom of Hancock, probably in the 1920s. Mrs. Croom wore her hair in a pug, and hat was worn flat across the top of the head, above the pug in back.
Staining across lining.
