this letter was found behind a mop board in the home at 1102 Park Avenue, Morris, MN. It is very discolored and torn. A copy is enclosed with it. It reads; Office of P.A. McCarthy, Morris, Minnestoa. To The Democratic County Convention of Stevens County. This is to certify Herman Keal, J. Christianson, Wm B. Hancock, O.F. Tewksbury, Thomas A. Callahau, Martin O. Flatner, Dr. S.H. Duley and P.H. McCarthy were duly chosen delegates at a caucaus held in the village of Morris August 6, 1888 to represent said village at the Democratic County Convention to be held at the Court House in Moris , Stevens County, Minnesota August 7th 1888. Dated at Morris, Minn. August 6th 1888.
