Description

Badge owned by Carl Torguson. He lied about his age to enter the military and served in the 15th Minnesota during the Spanish American War. This badge is from the 37th encampment of the Minnesota United Spanish War Veterans which took place in Virginia Minnesota in 1941. It is a name tag that reads: "Carl W. Torgerson Glenwood". Torguson is misspelled. There is a red ribbon with gold printing under the name tag. At the bottom of the ribbon is a small simplified version of the Spanish War Veterans cross.
