Description
Lightning brace / Yankee screwdriver, made of brass 11" in length closed and 17" fully extended with a wooden handle. It was designed for light boring and screw driving. There is no head or bit attached. To use it, the inner core must be pulled out, then when the user pushed on the handle, the entire head will turn, following the twist pattern on the core. It can be used to loosen or tighten screws. The direction of the movement is regulated by the switch at the head. Reads: "Yankee No. 30 North Brothers Mfg. Co. Phila, U.S.A."
