Description
This gas mask from World War I is made up of a mask connected to a hose that is connected to a metal filter. The mask portion is made of heavy khaki cloth with two round glass eye pieces and has a black elastic chin strap. Installed in the khaki hood is a metal hand-hold that is also connedted to the 10 inch rubber-like hose. The other end of the hose is connected to the metal filter canister that measures 4.5" x 2.5" by 5.5". The canister is painted yellow and has an exit opening with an adjustable cover at the bottom.
