Description
Vulcan coil x-ray machine. Wood box with leather handle that opens up on a metal hinge.
Metal label reads "The Vulcan Coil/ No 4524/A-C Current 60 Cycle/ 110 Volt/ Patents Pending/ Vulcan Coil Company/ Los Angeles, Cal./ Noyes Bros & Cutler/ St. Paul, Minn." Another small medal plaque reads "Patented Oct. 19th, 1915/ Nov. 30th, 1915/ Mch. 7th, 1915".
Inside is 5 instruments held inside the lid with metal clasps. The bottom section of the case is covered in black metal with two holes on the left side and a dial and mesh second on the right side.
Inside and not attached are a:
- black and white fabric cord with a two prong plug for electricity, and another two prong plug that attaches to the outside of the box, the other end of the cord has a brass colored remote with one black button and one read button
- two plastic knobs
-two silver metal pulley with copper wire.
