Description
World War I era canteen with insulated cover
a- metal canteen with metal screw-top lid. Lid has metal chain that is broken from the body of the canteen.
b- canvas insulated case for canteen. two "wings that snap down around the neck of the canteen. Metal hooks on the back to hook to grommets in uniform belt. "U.S." stamped on front. "DALBACK / Co. I Comp. Reg." "RAUER BROS. MFG CO. / 8-18" stamped inside one wing.
