The original painting is owned by her brother Paul Zesbaugh, whose family owned the Zesbaugh Art Store in Minneapolis from 1874 to 1965. The subject is shown in profile wearing an ornate feathered headdress and fringed buckskin jacket and traditional beads. Frame is painted gray wood.
