Description
Two framed World War I commemorative documents and mounted under glass. Document on the left entitled "Greetings from Army of Occupation" has a poem entitled "March on the Rhine." The poem is surrounded decorative colored drawing of a battle scene with a doughboy centered in the middle of the text. The second print on right is a commendatory message to American Expeditionary Forces, 1917-1919 of the Second Division commanded by Major Gen. John A. LeJeune. The text is also surrounded by a colored drawing of a battle near Chateau Thierry. A sticker on the back says the prints were donated by the estate of Ruby Smedberg of Knapp.
