Description

This large Friendship Quilt has a white cotton fabric base on the front. It has a scalloped binding of pink cotton fabric. The back of the quilt is made of the same white cotton fabric as the front. There may be a very thin batting or interlining. The quilt has over 600 names embroidered in starburst designs all across the front in dark pink embroidery thread. Each starburst has two concentric circles in the middle with names arranged around the circles. The quilt is quilted in a diagonal pattern throughout with white thread. At the top of the quilt, there is a separate piece of white cotton fabric to be used for display purposes.
