Description
A combination high chair and stroller. The attached note reads: "Purchased in Lake City in 1899, it was used to feed and take the 10 children of Henry and Sophia Dankers of Glenwood for a stroll." As a stroller, it has four steel wheels and a handle to push. The seat can be lifted into a highchair. There is no tray - it is missing. The bottom of the seat is now made from twine and string. It was probably cane at one time. The seat back has carved scroll-like designs.Related People and Organizations
