Description
Stove - kitchen stove used for heating and cooking. This stove was purchased from Montgomery Ward and Company. It appeared in the 1846 catalog. It is 24" high and has 4 holes / burners There is a Justice Windsor trademark. It is to be put in Trapper's cabin (built by Gilman Braaten's Uncle Nels in 1919.) This was the first stove used when Gilman and Selma built their home after they were married in 1925. A person could bake two loaves of bread at a time, or a small cake. It was also used by Cora Eskelson Peterson for a time, then Stanley Braaten (son of Gilman) restored and re-caulked it and used it in his St. Louis Park home in the mid 1960's to early 1970's.
