Description
Large veil and headpiece; veil is mesh with ornate embroidery sewn along the scalloped edges, it also has a repeating embroidery pattern decorated by three white 'pearl' (probably plastic (?)) beads. This pattern is repeated five (5) times down the right and left sides of the veil, and is repeated (and expanded upon) multiple times at the top and bottom of the veil. The headpiece is a metal/wire frame, the wire is wrapped in cloth/thread, and then the mesh from the veil (heavily embroidered- more so then the remainder of the veil) is sewn to this. A clear plastic hair piece is located on the inside of this and has multiple tines. Five (5) white metal bobby pins were also located inside the headpiece, but were not for structural support and were removed and bagged/labeled separately, though they have not been assigned an individual name/object ID.
Veil is in very good condition, no holes/snags are noted and it has not yellowed or faded as of yet. All beads appear to be in their original location.
