Description
One ladies' straw, flat hat. The straw is laid in ruffled layers on the hat. It has a decoration of tan ribbons and faded leaves on the top. There are two tan ribbons trailing off the back of the hat. This hat style was popular in the 1860s. There is a black elastic string that appears to have been attached later that would serve to keep the hat on the wearer's head.
