Description
Men's raccoon fur coat. Golden brown and dark brown fur. Fold over collar is about 5" wide in back and forms lapels in the front. Front closes with one black circular button just below the collar and four cylindrical wood buttons that through black braided loops on the opposite side. There is a set of buttons on each side of the opening, one would be for decoration as they all could not be buttoned at once. The loop for third cylindrical button from the top is detached from the edge of the coat and is hooked to the button itself. Sleeves have large cuffs about 5'" wide and lined with black corduroy. One pocket on either side of the coat opening. Coat is lined with black quilted material and sleeves are lined with stripped material. Leather is reinforcing the lining at armpits. A black and gold tag is sewn into the inside of the coat by the collar and is only partially legible. Reads "Minneapolis" at the bottom of tag. A black braided loop is sewn in above the tag as a hanging hook. Back of coat has a slit about 13" long at the center seam.
