Description

Anoka Halloween parade photographs, 1980. Several feature the Anoka royalty on their float: Miss Anoka Holly Lysdahl, and Anoka Princesses Karen Kind and Karen George. All three are wearing brown capes over their pale yellow dresses and the large version of the 1980 Halloween button. This was their last parade as Anoka royalty. Visible in the background are Anoka C&R Cleaners & Laundry, the Fred Moore Middle School building, and the Anoka water tower. In addition to the Anoka Halloween float, other photos show honorary Grand Marshalls Harold and Toni Foell, float drivers Carol Vevea and Dick Anderson, and other parade participants.
