Description

Large wooden rocking chair with woven Hickory seat and back. The wooden frame appears to be rough, natural wood. It looks like branches that have simply had the bark removed. The weave is made from wide Hickory strips in an over four and under four. There is a stamp on the back that reads: Colfax, IND. It was probably made by the Indiana Hickory Furniture Company in Colfax, Indiana.
