Description
Table cover, 46 x 41" not counting the 4.5" fringe. It is made of cotton chenille thread, and trimmed with chenille tassels, hanging in points from knotted lattice chenille. The center has a design of roses and other flowers with a border. Table covers such as these were used to cover center tables in the "front" rooms of this period. This was used in the home of Martin and Anne Hauge of Chippewa Falls, Terrace in the 1890's.

There are stains on the cover and the tassels are frayed.
