Description

White duffle bag. It was used by Rodney Everson in World War 2 when he served in the Navy as a Pharmacists' helper. The heavy canvas bag closes at the top with a drawstring. The heavy cord is tied to one of the heavy eyelets that would hold the cord. The words: "EVERSON, RW PHMIC" are stenciled on the front. Another patch reads: "R.W.E." Dennison, Minn. Wt 39 B/L N17707393 is written on the front. The letter F is written on the bag twice. There are two cardboard mailing labels attached to the bag. They note that he had served on the U.S.S. Arkansas. His bag was shipped to his parents in Dennison, Minn. He was born in Pope County.
