Description
John Jackson bought wool from 1928-c1938 from farmers and wool buyers; he also had 500 sheep on shares; weighed wool (see scale 90.6.1) in barn behind house at 817 Pacific Avenue; did spot checks to make sure farmers hadn't included dirty wool from near the sheep's tail to increase weight; wool was sewn into 7 to 7 foot burlap bags with this needle by Jackson's son Henry.
