Metal box. It was used by Charles Kettells while in the CCC. (Civilian Conservation Corps) It is a hinged metal box with a cloth lining. According to the original subject card, it is a shaving box, but there is nothing inside it but a plate with patent dates for an unknown object. It is 3" square with rounded corners. The cloth lining is blue with orange stripes. The box is held closed by a little metal tab that pops out through a hole when the box is closed. To open the box the little tab must be pressed.
