Hand-held corn husker; a steel rod is flattened and curved and pointed at one end to form a blade; the opposite end has a threaded brass fitting with a knurled nut; “THE BOSS” is incised on the rod below the blade; the rod is attached with steel loops to a leather band, which is in turn attached to a .5 in. wide strap which passes through a hole in the brass fitting; the rod is held in the hand while the strap passes around the fingers; used to pull the husks off dried corn.
