Description

Handbook for Parents - Country Day Nursery Inc. Blue paper binder with silver and white label on front top center, Anne/Robert Uehling written on front upper right corner. 24 pages.
Metal clips in binder are rusted and have transferred rust onto paper contents.

Country Day School was founded by Karla Klinger and Anne Uehling (treasurer) and was later formed into a co-op. Esther Gray was the first teacher there (at least as remembered by Anne). They experienced some community pushback - some people saw preschool as rushing children our of the home and implied that it wasused by lazy and/or career-minded mothers.
