Description

Darnen Township Treasurer's Book for July 1878 - December 1906. Treasurer: Thomas Murphy. Scribbles and penmanship practice on inside front cover and flyleaf, presumably by Thomas. Records contain columns for Year, Month, Day, To Whom Paid, On What Account, and Amount.

Some faded ink and discoloration of pages indicate past water damage. Cover is worn along edges, especially at each corner. Front cover has a crease from which point the lower end curves up, especially in the center.
