Description
Japanese Arisaka Military Rifle from WWII. Donated by James E. Lund. It opens with a bolt action. There are Japanese figures on the back and side of the barrel. The chrythanthemum symbol on the barrel is intact, indicating that this weapon was captured prior to Japanese surrender.
A bayonet was donated at the same time, but they became separated in the collection. The bayonet is probably 1966.252.
