Description
Pieced quilt made by Georgia Oeltjen and Irene Pennie Nelson. The history of the Birthday Club can be found in the Villard Centennial Book on pages 43 and 44.The quilt is made in pastel colors. The names of the members are embroidered in black near the center of each block. There are 29 names on the quilt. The design in the blocks is a diamond with chevrons around a white cross with the color at center of the cross matching the fabric of the chevrons.
