Description

Completely handmade crazy quilt made of many materials in varied shapes. Brocaded fabrics and plaids. Pieces are stitched together by fancy stitches in pink, blue and yellow. Tied with pink woolen yarn. Filled with cotton batting and backed with a striped cotton material.
Comprised of 9 large 22 x 28" squares. Embroidered with the initials "M.L." and the year "1902"
Made by Martin Heggestad's grandmother. His parents were John and Malina (Leikvold) and his grandparents were Mr. & Mrs. Mons Leikvold.
